I use everything from traditional crows quill, inks, watecolor and oil paint to Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects to execute most of my illustration work. I use the infinite variability of these combinations to create illustrations that are evocative of a narrative, that give a feeling of time and place and interaction between characters and situations. I have done covers and internal illustrations for magazines and books, animation, storyboards, concept art, websites, apps, games and more. Having started as a storyboard artist at Lucasfilm, I became comfortable with visual storytelling, and I approach much of my editorial work with this sensibility.
